Purchase Order Management
The KBS Purchase Order Management (POM) module provides companies with the ability to manage their inventory and purchasing needs and to efficiently schedule orders to cover outstanding commitments and regulate stock levels. It provides a streamlined method to easily raise or reschedule system Purchase Orders by forecasting the monthly stock figures over the next 3/6/9 or 12 months in order to highlight problem areas.
POM will provide recommendations for:
- placing new purchase orders
- rescheduling existing purchase orders
- cancelling purchase orders
POM will facilitate these tasks in such a way as to save the user from returning to the original purchase orders to make the necessary amendments, cancellations and/or create new purchase orders and this is determined by looking at Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and Buffer requirements. All changes made to purchase orders by POM are recorded and may be reported for audit purposes.
