Company information
Kingston Developments Ltd (Kingston) has been providing software solutions to SME’s since 1986. Our primary focus is on the provision of reliable and full-functioned packaged software to companies involved in Distribution. We aim to provide, where possible, competitive advantage to customers both through use of our standard software, and development of bespoke software to our customers' specification.
We develop close relationships with our customers to provide speedy and effective responses to queries or problems involved in the use of our software. We organise site visits and user group meetings to share information and discuss problems and improvements to our systems and software products.
Historically Kingston, a technically-led company, has concentrated on selling packages to SME’s engaged in Electronic Component Distribution. Our original KATS system, character-based and run on UNIX has sold widely over the last 20 years. Our customer base is mainly in the United Kingdom but the company has customers in Europe and USA.
Our focus over the last 6 years has been concerned with the research and development of a new Windows™ system, providing the same breadth of functionality, and reliability of KATS.
